The Department of Beni, in the Bolivian Amazon wetlands, is home to a rediscovered native cocoa variety. It thrives best naturally scattered across countless forests and along the banks of many rivers. The exclusive Cru Sauvage Truffle rarity is created from the wild Bolivian cocoa beans – a superb little delicacy for true connoisseurs.
Truffes Cru Sauvage
Our Truffes Cru Sauvage, made with wild cocoa from the Beni region of Bolivia, enhanced solely with the addition of fresh cream, are enrobed in delicate dark chocolate and dusted with a hint of cocoa powder.
Grand Cru Beni chocolate 75% cacao
The unique cru sauvage chocolate made from wild Criollo cocoa beans in Bolivia provides for an intensely indulgent experience.
Truffes Cru Sauvage
The Truffes Cru Sauvage are made fresh from select ingredients in small quantities. The characteristic aroma of the luxury truffles begins with a soft, floral bouquet, increases to a fine espresso aroma and concludes with a gloriously long-lasting vanilla note.
Bolivian cocoa
What makes Cru Sauvage so special is that it doesn’t use conventionally cultivated cocoa, but cocoa beans that grow in the wild, which are harvested between December and March in limited quantities. The pure, pristine aroma of the rare beans is all the more intense. Since the natural occurrence of the wild cocoa variety is limited, our Truffes Cru Sauvage are only available in restricted quantities.
